Framed Items

Many people mount and frame their autographs, some people are very talented at doing this. As of writing this (early Feb 2010), I am most definitely not skilled at making mounts. It is something I plan to learn about though.

This section will showcase items we have that are mounted and framed.

Picture Of Framed Autographs Notes

I bought this from a local shop for £5 in 2007. It is a fabulous picture of Gracie Fields with printed signature on the white border, but genuine autograph on the main picture. At some point, I will embark on a reframing project as the original frame is dirty and worn.

I have loved The Goons for many years. I am actively hunting out a few more related Goons guests and associates as I would like to frame them as part of a larger framing project. Until then, I have made use of a 16x16 inch frame and mount from Wilkinsons to temporarily display the four main Goons (Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan, Harry Secombe, Michael Bentine) signed pictures and a signed album page by Dennis Main Wilson who produced the first two radio series.

A 2010 Christmas present - limited to 50 numbered/signed copies worldwide, and signed by Dietmar Hamann and artist Stephen Doig. A must for framing.

This was a ttm reply from Rik in June 2009, and is one of our favourite ttm replies. Rik has made us laugh for what must be close to 30 years - a rare anarchic talent in comedy. His response is every bit what we expected from him, and we treasure it as such. Pure genius at it's insulting best,m and very funny. :-)

This was a fabulous purchase through Ingrid Pitt's website back in 2000. It is a framed/mounted display of an unused sheet of Classic Movie Monsters stamps that has been mounted with authentic signatures of Christopher Lee and Ingrid Pitt.

I received this large Where Eagles Dare signed poster when I joined Ingrid Pitt's fan club in 1999. A friend framed it for me.

I have been a big fan of Goodbye Mr Mackenzie for many years and Isa & The Filthy Tongues were formed from their ashes with three of the Mackenzies. I have been following Isa in their own right since they formed and am really impressed. I pre-ordered their 2nd album in late 2009 and received a limited (to 200) signed poster from them. Having looked around I found a 16x20 inch frame with mount in Wilkinsons for £6 and this has proved perfect for framing the poster. Very pleased with such a simple a reasonably priced result.

A selection of individual framed autographed photos on display on our media cabinets - James Stewart, Sir Elton John, Jeff Dunham (& friends), Bill Cosby, Maureen O'Hara, Brad Pitt, Sir Michael Caine. Just a few of our many favourites.
